In 2013 Lloyds Bank commissioned Global Diversity Practice Ltd to enhance and build leadership Diversity and Inclusion competence with a view to ensuring Lloyds Retail are able to deliver on the objectives of their D&I strategy. They wanted to consider how they can promote diversity of thought and style to improve and enhance their competitive and commercial advantage, meeting the needs of an increasing diverse customer and employee base and developing an inclusive culture in line with Lloyds Values.
D&I Cascade Toolkit
In 2013, Global Diversity Practice conducted an Unconscious Bias Audit feeding the results into the design and delivery of a high profile leadership event. A cascade mechanism was designed encompassing all of the data we had collected both qualitative and quantitative with a strong compelling business case. Coaching was provide to the senior leaders in delivering the cascade sessions and a comprehensive toolkit with facilitator notes FAQs and Presentation Pack was included. This tool is being cascaded to 10,000 Retail employees.
Our work has been a catalyst in incentivizing and mobilizing leaders to action. It has promoted ownership and accountability for Inclusive Leadership and Bias Reduction.
