The faculty of SAgE is made up of 10 schools which all contribute to the multidisciplinary nature of the faculty.
After the success of the construction sector in the Olympic Games, the faculty wanted to understand how they could infuse their learning content to reflect inclusive design principles and diversity and equality best practice.
Our aim was to provide a unique differentiator and also recognize the contemporary challenges that construction and built environment professionals are required to have as an essential part of their competency toolkit.
D&I Training Modules
Development and delivery of training modules which transferred best practice and learning from the experience of the Olympic Games to the lecturers responsible for designing the curriculum for the undergraduate courses in design of the built environment.
There was a hugely successful integration into all relevant modules of Diversity and Inclusion principles with particular relevance to inclusive design.
