Teesside University is a university in Middlesbrough, England. It has over 28,000 students.
Teesside University were keen to develop the equality and diversity knowledge, understanding and competence of their academic and support staff. The University were also keen to establish and develop a culture of respect within the University.
- We constructed a D&I audit to establish key issues and concerns
- The findings influenced the design and development of a HE specific equality and diversity training course which was customised to Teesside University.
- We trained over 500 academic and support staff.
Delivery of the sessions and the completion of the audit identified key themes and priorities for the University which formed the basis of their action planning to develop an inclusive higher education environment.
