Arthur Matthews




Arthur T. Matthews J.D started his teaching career in 1987 first at the Medgar Evers College/City University of New York and the Van Arsdale School of Labor Studies. In addition, since 1989 he has served on the faculty at NYU and Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Moreover, in 1997 he started serving as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Arkansas. At the aforementioned institutions, he has taught seminar, certificate, boot camp, undergraduate, MPA and MBA courses in areas such as diversity and inclusion, labor-management cooperation, leadership, public speaking, ethics, negotiation, mediation, arbitration and organizational change. For a decade starting in the late 90’s he lectured at the National Labor College/George Meany Center for Labor Studies. Lastly, in 2016 and 2017 he lectured at the Clinton School of Public Service and Harvard University School of Law respectively.
