The World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world. World Bank is a unique partnership to reduce poverty and support development. The World Bank Group comprises five institutions managed by their member countries.

The World Bank was keen to leverage the full potential of the diverse nationalities represented within its employee base. Farrah Qureshi was commissioned to deliver the keynote speech at the annual Diversity Week celebration on the topic of Diversity and Inclusion.

IMPACT

The content and delivery of the speech by Farrah was well received by the international audience. The delivery of the session was recognised for its relevancy and innovative approach. Farrah was applauded for ensuring her inputs were both legitimate and credible. As a result of the success of this intervention she was further commissioned to develop and deliver leadership modules on promoting Cross Cultural sensitivity and effective team working to various directorates of The World Bank. The learning interventions promoted a higher level of cross-cultural understanding sensitivity and enhanced team relationships not only across cultures but also across diverse specialisms and disciplines.
