Kindness always wins!
At Global Diversity Practice, kindness is at the forefront of everything that we are and everything that we do. So, we are delighted to announce that our CEO Farrah Qureshi has been selected as a Kindness and Leadership Leading Light for 2021!
Joining the likes of Unilever CEO Alan Jope as one of 50 Leading Lights in the UK for this year, Farrah says:
Kindness has to be our chief GPS navigator in all areas of our lives! Your small act of kindness can make a huge difference in ways you possibly haven’t even considered. I am humbled and honoured to receive this recognition for my work at GDP.
The Kindness and Leadership Leading Lights celebrates the power of kindness and shines a well-deserved spotlight on the leaders, who are using it to make positive change in their business and in the world.
Aiming to change the narrative surrounding kindness as a ‘nice to have’ quality and framing it as essential for good business results, The Kindness and Leadership Leading Lights initiative began in 2018 but is more important now than ever. For some, the pandemic created isolation and division and as we slowly emerge from the other side of it, kindness and empathy should reign supreme across the way that we live and work. The Kindness and Leadership campaign illuminates the amazing results that occur when leaders extend compassion to their workforce.
The full list of Kindness and Leadership Leading Lights for 2021 was published in The Financial Times and on the official website for the campaign, kindnessrules.co.uk.
