Terms of Sale
Version 2026-10-21. These terms apply to everything bought through the GDP Learning Hub shop.
1. Who we are
The Learning Hub is run by Global Diversity Practice Ltd ("GDP", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 06894073. Registered office: Riverside House, 37 Nab Lane, Shipley, BD18 4HQ, United Kingdom. VAT number GB 976147190.
Email info@globaldiversitypractice.com about orders, cancellations, refunds and complaints, and data@globaldiversitypractice.com about your personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data.
2. These terms
These terms cover online courses, downloadable PDFs, places on a course for a team, and physical products when we sell them. Please read them before you buy. Our order confirmation email repeats the key points. You must be 18 or over to buy.
3. Buying for yourself or for an organisation
If you buy for yourself, outside any business, you are a consumer: sections 7 and 8 and UK consumer law give you rights that these terms do not reduce. If you buy for an organisation, including any purchase of more than one place, you buy as a business: section 9 applies, and the consumer right to cancel does not.
4. Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Prices include VAT at the UK rate; at checkout the VAT is worked out for where you are, and the full amount is shown before you pay. A business can enter its VAT number at checkout; where the reverse charge applies, no UK VAT is added.
Payment is taken by card when you order, through our payment provider Stripe. We never see your full card details. If your card is in another currency, your bank may charge conversion fees. If a price on the shop is clearly wrong, we will tell you before we supply anything and you can pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Your order
Your order is accepted, and a contract formed, when your payment succeeds. We then email you a confirmation of what you bought.
6. Courses and PDFs
Courses. A course opens in the GDP Learning Hub under the email address you gave at checkout; we email you a sign-in link. Your access is personal: do not share your sign-in. Each course you buy stays available to you for at least 12 months from purchase. If we withdraw a course within that time and you have not finished it, we will refund what you paid for it.
PDFs. You may download, store and print a PDF you bought for your own use, or for use inside your organisation if your organisation bought it.
What you may not do. Courses, PDFs and everything in them belong to GDP or our licensors. Without our written permission you may not copy, share, resell, publish, adapt or record them, or remove our name or copyright notices.
Certificates. A course certificate confirms that the named learner completed that course. Anyone can check a certificate's ID with us online.
7. Your right to cancel (consumers)
Courses and PDFs. You can cancel within 14 days of the day you bought, for a full refund, as long as you have not started the course (opened its first module) or downloaded the PDF. At checkout you ask us to give you access straight away and confirm that you understand you lose the right to cancel once the course is started or the PDF downloaded. So once you start the course or download the PDF, you can no longer cancel under this section. Your rights if something is faulty (section 8) still apply.
Physical products. You can cancel within 14 days of the day you, or someone you name, receive the goods, without giving a reason. Then send the goods back to us within 14 days of telling us. You pay the cost of returning them unless they are faulty or not what you ordered. We refund the price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of getting the goods back, or of your proof that you sent them if that is sooner. We may reduce the refund if the goods were handled more than was needed to check them.
How to cancel. Email info@globaldiversitypractice.com with your name, the email address you used to order, what you bought and when. You can use the model form in our Refund Policy, but you do not have to. We refund to the card you paid with.
8. If something is wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, courses and PDFs must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and so must goods. If a course or PDF is faulty, we will repair or replace it; if we cannot do that within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you can have some or all of your money back. Faulty goods can be rejected for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and after that we will repair or replace them or refund you. Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) explains these rights.
9. Buying places for a team (business buyers)
You buy a number of places on a course. We email the buyer a link to share with learners and a link to a page showing who has joined and their progress on the course. Each person who joins with their email address takes one place; when every place is taken, the link admits nobody else. A place belongs to the learner who took it and cannot be moved to someone else.
If you bought by mistake, tell us within 14 days of the purchase and before anyone has joined, and we will refund you in full. After that, places are not refundable unless the course is faulty. Your Stripe receipt shows the VAT charged; email info@globaldiversitypractice.com if you need a VAT invoice in your organisation's name.
Learners who join through a team link are told that the buyer can see that they joined and their progress. You must use that information only to manage the learning you bought.
10. Physical products
When we sell physical products, GDP posts them to addresses in the United Kingdom. The delivery charge and expected delivery time are shown before you pay. If an order has not arrived within 30 days, you can cancel it for a full refund.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for business losses: our consumer products are for private use.
If you are a business buyer, our total liability for an order is limited to the price paid for it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. We cannot promise the Learning Hub will always be available without interruption, for example during maintenance.
12. Changes
We may improve or update course content. We may change these terms for future orders; the version you agreed to at checkout applies to your order.
13. Complaints and law
Please email complaints to info@globaldiversitypractice.com; we aim to reply within five working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
