Santander

As part of a leadership programme to address the impact of bias on career progression, attitudes to flexible working and corporate culture, Santander UK commissioned Global Diversity Practice to deliver unconscious bias and inclusive leadership training.

A questionnaire to 150 respondents informed the course content, methodology, delivery techniques, evaluation criteria, KPIs and metrics.

Feedback showed the course met expectations and learning objectives, and that the course was relevant to the company needs. In 2012, Santander and Global Diversity Practice received the ENEI Award for Training Excellence and Impact following the training.

Charles Garfit, a course delegate who was then MRICS Director, Asset Management, said: “it was one of the most thought provoking and rewarding things I have been involved in. I found the honesty and the shared experiences of my colleagues refreshing and really must commend Farrah on the way she delivered the course and encouraged a structured debate.”
