Global Diversity Practice

Cross-Cultural Collaboration

Practical learning for teams that work across countries, cultures and time zones: clearer communication, stronger trust and better teamwork, built around how your people actually work.

Why cross-cultural collaboration matters

Most organisations now work across borders, even when everyone sits in the same office. Colleagues bring different habits around directness, hierarchy, time, feedback and decision-making. When those differences go unspoken, small misunderstandings slow work down and wear away trust.

Our cross-cultural collaboration work helps people notice those differences, talk about them openly and agree practical ways of working together. We focus on everyday behaviour, not national stereotypes.

What the programme covers

Practical communication

How people give and hear feedback, disagree, ask questions and make decisions across cultures. Participants practise approaches they can use in their next meeting, email or call.

Building trust

How trust is earned in different contexts, and what quietly erodes it. Teams explore expectations about relationships, reliability and openness, and agree what good looks like for them.

Global and virtual teamwork

Working well across locations, languages and time zones, including in virtual teams. Teams agree shared ways of working so everyone can contribute.

Inclusive leadership across cultures

Helping managers and leaders lead diverse, multicultural teams with confidence, and model the behaviours they want to see.

What the work is designed to achieve

Every programme is shaped around your goals, so the outcomes we aim for are agreed with you at the start. Typically they include:

  • Fewer avoidable misunderstandings between colleagues from different backgrounds.
  • More open conversations about different working styles.
  • Stronger working relationships across cultures, specialisms and disciplines.
  • Shared team agreements that people keep using after the training ends.
